Family living, entertaining, and relaxation…

Prestige Landscape Construction has delivered an impressive, resort-inspired outdoor space with Project The Acres — a carefully planned landscape designed to support family living, entertaining, and relaxation from day through to night. Set on a generous acreage property and delivered in collaboration with a range of skilled trades, the project brings together a seamless combination of a 10.5m Whitehaven pool, dual spas, and a dedicated splash zone, all integrated into one cohesive fibreglass design.

From the outset, the space makes a strong visual statement. The clean, rectangular pool design forms the centrepiece, surrounded by high-quality finishes including natural stone feature walls, large-format paving, and Artisan Stone cobbles. An elevated cabana creates a comfortable and functional retreat, while thoughtfully placed lighting enhances the atmosphere in the evening, allowing the space to transition effortlessly into a night-time entertaining area.

The pool itself was designed and constructed in partnership with industry specialists, incorporating advanced cleaning and filtration systems to maintain water clarity with minimal effort. Heating has been integrated to ensure both the pool and spas can be enjoyed throughout the year, adding another layer of versatility to the space. Surrounding the hardscape, lush tropical planting softens the overall design, providing privacy and a natural connection to the surrounding environment.

This outdoor environment was created for a young family who wanted a space that could grow with them — somewhere to relax, entertain, and spend time together. The brief was to create a private oasis that felt like an escape from everyday life, while still being highly functional and practical.

Due to the scale and complexity of the project, construction was delivered in stages, allowing each element to be completed with precision. The end result is a cohesive and highly functional landscape that balances visual impact with everyday usability.

For director Troy Stolzenhein and his team, projects like this highlight the importance of thoughtful planning and a holistic approach to design. Each element is carefully considered to ensure it connects seamlessly with the next, resulting in a space that feels complete from every angle.

Since its establishment in 2015, Prestige Landscape Construction has grown from a small operation into a well-established team of around 20, now delivering close to 190 pool surrounds each year. With a strong focus on pool landscaping and large-scale outdoor projects, the team works across everything from suburban homes to expansive acreage properties.

Every project begins with a collaborative process, where time is taken to understand the client’s vision, preferences, and budget. Through on-site consultations, design discussions, and visual planning tools, the concept evolves naturally as the project progresses. This flexible approach allows clients to see their space come to life and make refinements along the way, ensuring the final result is both personalised and practical.

COMPANY PROFILE

From modest beginnings in 2015, Prestige Landscape Construction has grown into a thriving business under the direction of Troy Stolzenhein. What started as a solo operation now boasts a team of 20, delivering round 190 pool surrounds annually – from compact suburban gardens to sprawling acreage estates.

“We specialise in pool surrounds and largescale properties,” explains Troy. “But we’re equally committed to crafting quality outcomes for projects of all sizes. It’s about finding solutions that genuinely reflect the client’s lifestyle and vision.”

Each new build begins with a collaborative design process. The team takes time to understand the client’s goals, design references and budget expectations. Moodboards, conversations and on-site walkthroughs guide the early stages, with a flexible approach that allows for evolution along the way. “Clients often need to see the project take shape to fully envision it. We’re happy to make tweaks as we go,” Troy shares.
